I often work with people who feel stuck in a cycle of negative, unwanted thoughts. These thoughts may be intrusive, self critical, or fear driven, and while they may feel deeply ingrained, they are not permanent. One of the most powerful tools I use to help clients free themselves from these mental patterns is Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT®).
What Are Harmful Thoughts?
Harmful thoughts can take many forms:
Intrusive thoughts that seem to come from nowhere and feel unsettling
Self limiting beliefs such as “I’m not good enough” or “I always mess things up”
Anxiety loops that keep your mind stuck in fear or worst case scenarios
Guilt and regret about the past that block peace in the present
These patterns may seem normal, but they often reflect outdated beliefs rooted in past experiences.
How RTT Helps Break the Cycle of Negative Thinking
RTT is a therapeutic method that accesses the subconscious mind to identify and transform the root causes of harmful thoughts. It blends techniques from hypnotherapy, CBT, NLP, Psychotherapy and Neuroscience for fast and lasting change.
1. Identifying the Root Cause
Through guided hypnosis, RTT helps uncover where these beliefs started, often in early childhood and sometimes past lives.
2. Reframing the Narrative
Once we understand the source, I help you rewrite the story. For example:
“I’m not enough” becomes “I am more than enough and always have been.”
3. Reinforcing New Beliefs
You’ll receive a personalised transformational hypnosis audio recording to rewire your thinking daily over 21 days.
4. Rapid and Lasting Results
Most clients see significant shifts in just 1–3 sessions, making it one of the most effective and efficient therapies available.
A Practical Self Help Tool: The Thought Release Journal
While RTT goes deep, here's a simple journaling tool to help you manage harmful thoughts today:
How to Use the Thought Release Journal:
1. Set a timer for 5–10 minutes and find a quiet space.
2. Write down the harmful thought exactly as it appears in your mind.
3. Challenge it: Is this true? Is this helpful?
4. Reframe it: What would a kinder, more empowering version sound like?
5. Release it: Say out loud, “I release this thought. It no longer serves me.”
This tool builds daily awareness, helping you pause and shift your mindset in real time.
Moving Forward with Self-Compassion
Letting go of harmful thoughts isn’t about pretending everything’s fine. It’s about exploring why you think the way you do and gently choosing new, truthful beliefs. RTT gives you the tools to do that, quickly and compassionately.
